CoreLogic DataQuick, a real-estate tracker, reported that the median price for a resale single-family home in the county in October was $475,000, up 5.5 percent over last year. It fell to $462,000 in November, still up 3.8 percent over November 2013. Home price appreciation declined in San Diego County in October, but the trend is still upward appreciation. We had been seeing double digits rates of increase a couple years ago and that’s not sustainable. We are moving into a balanced market where supply does not outweigh demand and demand is not outweighing supply.
